Ajarn Chai Update

Greetings to the WTBA Family,

Ajarn and family wish you a very special Easter weekend!  Although Ajarn continues with his recovery each day, it is still taking time to make progress to regain his mental and physical health.  The good news is he has been receiving both physical and occupational therapy visits each week to keep his body moving.  Thankfully, he can still walk downstairs in the morning and upstairs when retiring at night and we are grateful for that!

There are plans underway to hold an Instructor Development Camp (IDC) on July 25-26.  This year’s IDC will allow a wider reach of Instructors to participate through Zoom so stay tuned for the logistical details with school locations and registration information.

Regrettably, the Oregon camp will be postponed to next year.  This will allow more time to plan a 2027 camp with considerations of how we can improve areas that meet the objectives of the camp and needs of the participants.

 As a side note, we were remiss to inform you sooner that Ajarn Chai has not looked at his text messages or emails for a little over a year when he began struggling with health issues and then during his hospital stay, and now recovery phase.  However, any important messages will be relayed to Ajarn if you send to info@thaiboxing.com.
